Who we are and what we do.
At the heart of the Emsworth community since 1918
With over 340 members, we provide a welcoming space for everyone to come together, enjoy a variety of activities and support local causes.
The club offers a range of social events, including our popular monthly LD Disco, as well as hosting youth and adult football teams’ presentations and community events.
Whether you’re looking to relax with a drink, join in on one of our weekly activities, or take part in one of our charity initiatives, there’s something for everyone.
We’ve also partnered with MJ Fine Foods in our car park, where you can buy delicious food and enjoy it in the club or our garden.
History of the club

1918: Emsworth Sports & Social Club formed as The Emsworth Sports Club.
- 1926: The club is officially listed in directories, offering a variety of sports.

1942: The club remains open during the war, offering family-friendly activities.

1950s: The club owns 7 moorings in Emsworth Harbour, which are rented to members.

1968: The fishermen’s group adopts the club for their events and weigh-ins.

1976: The club battles a land dispute, resulting in the construction of the current clubhouse.

1988: The club purchases the freehold of the property.

2014-2016: Further improvements to the bar area and seating.
